Three Merry Widows first single, Black Halo was released in 1991, on TVT Records. The video was shot in St. Louis, at the Rug Barn (R.I.P.), the Otis elevator at Webster University, Graham Chapel at Washington University, Forest Park, and the Laumeier Sculpture Park. TVT debuted Black Halo nationally on MTV's 120 Minutes, later that year during the Widows tour to support, "Which Dreamed It?." Directed by Jeff Hudson.
